Biographical Information
Lauren serves as the Graduate Academic Affairs & Policy Specialist for the Graduate School. She works collaboratively with graduate programs and offices across campus on the interpretation, implementation, and development of Graduate School policies and procedures. Her work supports graduate students and programs while helping maintain UCCS’s academic standards and compliance with institutional, state, regional, and federal requirements related to graduate education. She also provides policy guidance to graduate faculty and staff and supports the Graduate School Dean in addressing graduate policy and program concerns. In addition to her work on graduate policy, Lauren conducts graduation audits and reviews all UCCS theses and dissertations for adherence to UCCS requirements.
Lauren earned a bachelor’s degree in History in 2018 and a master’s degree in European History in 2020 from the University of South Florida, where her graduate work focused on modern Ireland and cultural nationalism. Prior to joining UCCS, Lauren worked in college admissions, archives, and academic publishing, including serving as Senior Editorial Assistant for Book Reviews for the Academic Journal, The Historian.
