Admissions and Records is located on the first floor of Main Hall, room 108. This office is responsible for generating Invitations to Register, tracking academic records, transcript procurement, enrollment, tuition classification and more.
Bookstore is located on the first floor of University Center. In order to prepare for the semester and avoid long lines on the first day of classes, the bookstore allows students to purchase books for your classes up to two weeks before the semester begins. The bookstore also allows students to reserve books to be picked up, or order books to be shipped.
Computing Services/Information Technology is located on the first floor of the El Pomar Center. The IT Help Desk assists students with setting up their email account, gaining off-campus access to library databases and electronic journals, and general computer-related issues. UCCS houses several computer labs across campus. Printing in computer labs is managed through Paw Prints, the per-page printing system for UCCS. Every student is given an account with a starting balance of $2.00 and can add additional money as needed throughout the year.
Copy Center - located in the lower level of University Center, room 108 and offers a variety of printing and binding services.
Department of Public Safety is located on the bottom floor of the parking garage. This department provides police, security, risk management, environmental safety, parking and transportation services for the UCCS community. You can reserve and purchase your parking permit through their website.
Financial Aid is located on the second floor of Cragmor Hall, room 201 and meets with both current and prospective students to discuss financial aid for graduate study. Information on Student Employment, Americorps, and scholarships is also available through the Financial Aid office
Child Care (Family Development Center) is committed to providing high quality early childhood programs that are based on research and are responsive to the needs of children and their families. The center offers student discounts to help pay for child care costs at FDC.
Disability Services provides students with disabilities the skills, reasonable accommodations and support services needed to participate fully in the academic environment and opportunities available at UCCS. In addition, Disability Services promotes accessibility to all UCCS buildings, programs, and activities. Students are expected to utilize the resource of Disability Services to the degree they determine necessary.
International Student Services provides a range of immigration and academic advising services to international students and scholars, expand international learning opportunities for faculty, staff and students and to play a key role in promoting University of Colorado Colorado Springs as the university of choice in the international market.
Matrix Center is a leading national resource for the study of privilege and oppression from an intersectional perspective- one which examines not only gender, but race, class, sexuality, and other dimensions of identity and inequality. The Center has gained a national reputation as leader in the field of intersectional studies and its programs are attended by educators, students, and activists from around the U.S. and internationally.
Multicultural Office for Student Access, Inclusiveness and Community (MOSAIC) is a safe place for students to engage in discussions about social identities, cultures, experiences, and viewpoints. They offer a wide range of services for students of diverse backgrounds, including information on scholarships, job opportunities, mentoring opportunities, and other services.
Veteran and Military Student Affairs holds an orientation program specifically designed for incoming veterans and active duty military students. They also offer assistance in applying for VA educational benefits, as well as continued support for veterans, active duty and reservists throughout their academic career at UCCS.
Gallogly Recreation and Wellness Center - The Recreation Center houses a number of amenities, including 2 two-court gymnasiums, elevated two-lane track, all-inclusive state of the art fitness area, indoor pool and spa, a 12-foot bouldering wall, and two group fitness studios. Group fitness classes, personal training, intramural leagues, and outdoor adventure programs run throughout the year. Unlimited access to the Recreation Center is included in your student fees; although some programs carry additional fees. The Wellness Center offers medical and mental health care for $15 appointment fees. Massage therapy and chiropractic services are available for additional fees. Unlimited free cooking classes are available to all to students; and in addition, students can meet with a Registered Dietitian for three free sessions before the regular $15 fee applies.
Peak Nutrition Clinic - The Peak Nutrition Clinic offers dietary analysis, detailed meal plans, nutrition workshops, bone health consults, nutrition counseling and more! Students receive 50% off most services.
Alpine Village - This apartment community is nestled at the foot of the scenic Austin Bluffs hillside with easy access to hiking and the new campus Recreation Center. Designed specifically for our Sophomore through Graduate Student population, Alpine offers fun programming designed to help you meet your neighbors, succeed in school, and move on to life after UCCS. All apartments are furnished with a basic furniture package.
Dining Services - UCCS offers a variety of dining options for its students. The Lodge features a variety of fresh food designed to satisfy everyone's appetite; the Cafe '65 offers a food court style selection, including a pizza, burgers, salads, a sub shop and more. Catch the game or relax with friends at UCCS's premier on-campus restaurant and sports bar, Clyde's. Looking for a little pick-me-up? Visit one of our coffee shops, conveniently located in four buildings across campus: Jazzman's Cafe at the University Center; DazBog Coffee Company at Dwire Hall; Aspretto Coffee at University Hall; and The Coffee Cart at Columbine Hall
Club Sports - This program provides UCCS students the opportunity to shape their own recreational experience through competitive/instructional sports teams. Participating in this program can enhance the collegiate experience at any level by developing skills and knowledge of a particular sport, building character and leadership for future pursuits, and improving the health and well being of students through physical activity.
Gallery of Contemporary Art is a permanent, nonprofit visual art museum, and an educational institution within the UCCS campus. They provide quality contemporary art exhibitions and related educational programming to the university and the community. The Gallery displays at least six exhibitions annually containing works by artists of significant national and international recognition.
Student Outdoor Leadership Expeditions (SOLE) seeks to provide the university community with outdoor recreation opportunities with an emphasis on skill acquisition, leadership development, team building, environmental awareness, safety and fun.
Theatre Works - There are few theatre departments in the country in which students have the opportunity to meet and work with outstanding, professional artists. Likewise, there are few professional theatre companies that are able to use the resources of an institution of higher learning as a way to workshop new ideas and help nurture the professional artists of tomorrow. Theatre Works is located in The Osborne Studio Theater on the second floor of University Hall. Admission for productions is FREE for UCCS students.
Graduate Student Association (GSA) is a recognized Student Club at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and its purpose is to enhance the experiences of graduate students on our campus.
