Counseling & Human Services: Clinical Mental Health (MA)
Being in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at UCCS so far has been challenging in the sense that it asks you to become self-aware and to advocate for your own personal growth. This adventure of self-discovery is difficult but incredibly rewarding. The faculty are driven and passionate about helping you achieve all of this as well as encouraging on the academic side and educating students and giving them the tools to succeed as counselors. I feel like I have put my heart and soul into the process within the program and have been rewarded for my efforts.
I grew up near Prairie Farm, Wisconsin, which is a small town of about 500 people. I am an avid reader, specifically fantasy fiction or history. I have two novels that I am currently working on as extracurricular activities, and I enjoy playing volleyball!
