The Streamlined Application is designed to offer outstanding UCCS students and UCCS alumni an expedited application to graduate school by minimizing the application materials required for an admission application. Biochemistry, MSc

• Must have a minimum GPA of 3.2
• Must be about to graduate or graduated in the last 4 years

Sociology, MA

• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 and minimum program specific GPA of 3.33
• Must be about to graduate or graduated in the last 3 years
• Application requires a goal statement

Software Engineering, ME

• Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Must be about to graduate or graduated in the last 1 year
• Application requires 1 recommendation from dept chair

Step 1: If you are interested in applying utilizing the Streamlined Application, please confirm with your department that you are eligible to apply using the Streamlined Application. Step 2: If the program confirms you are able to apply as a Streamlined Applicant, please begin by starting the regular Graduate School Application. 

Step 3:  After answering the questions at the beginning of the application, you will get to the following questions a few pages into your application. Use these steps to complete the Streamlined Application: 

1. Have you ever attended UCCS or any other University of Colorado campus before? Select “Yes”.
2. Did you graduate from UCCS or are you a current UCCS student? Select “Yes”. Click “Next” 
3. After clicking Next, the application will ask which semester you intent on completing a application for. Select your desired start semester. Click “Next”. 
4. On the next page, you will be asked if you will be using the Streamlined Application.  (If a program also participates in AMP, this option may be an option as well.  AMP is a program that you would have started while you were an undergraduate student, by taking graduate level courses.). Be sure to select “Streamlined” in the dropdown box. Then click “Next”. 
5. Next, you will be asked to confirm that you are eligible for and approved by the graduate department to apply as a Streamlined applicant.  If you have not confirmed this with your graduate department, please circle-back to Step 1 on this page.  If you have been approved, select “Yes”. The click “Next”. 

Step 4: Complete the remaining portions of the application. 

PLEASE NOTE: Your application checklist/required documents on the right side of the application may list ALL application requirements needed for the NORMAL application.  Please review the “Eligible Streamline Applicants” portion on the right hand side. Your application checklist may take a few days to update.
